Omar Hassan (Milano – 1987), an Italian mother and an egyptian father, grew up in the midst of two different cultures and this gave rise to a deep curiosity in him towards the new, the different and outside world. He is the research artist who graduated from Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Now he lives between Milan and Miami.
The first published book by the artist, Omar Hassan, 'Per le strade' is an autobiographical account of the story of his artworks. The book is only in Italian.
The third episode of the season is an incredible journey that traces the path of Omar Hassan, a talented former boxer, now an acclaimed contemporary artist.
PUNCTUM
Omar Hassan is the protagonist of PUNCTUM, an exhibition created and designed in collaboration with the Fondazione Federico II, to be held from the 24th of March to the 1st of October at the Royal Palace of Palermo.
